Eric Balsam, spokesperson for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, told Agence France-Presse that the agency is actively investigating several death threats based on credible information received
Details of the investigations have not been provided, but Mr. Balsam said that the agency is cooperating with international partners. He added that the Canadian Security Intelligence Service is aware that the Islamic Republic is monitoring Canadian citizens, including dual Iranian nationals, and seeks to intimidate them to silence those who speak out against the regime
