Alireza Salimi, representative of Mahalat and Delijan, calls for 60% enrichment in response to the Board of Governors' resolution

Alireza Salimi, the representative of Mahalat and Delijan, is calling for 60% enrichment in response to the Board of Governors’ resolution.

Alireza Salimi, a representative of Mahalat and Delijan in the Iranian Parliament, has stated that the country should undertake 60% enrichment in response to last week’s resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors.

Mr. Salimi told the state news agency IRNA that 60% uranium enrichment is an appropriate response to the resolution from the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors.

He added that enemies must understand that Iran’s stance towards them is one of strength, not passivity.

Last week, the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors, in its third resolution against Iran in the past year, called for explanations from Tehran regarding contaminated and suspicious sites.
