Minister of Culture on Government Forces' Presence at the World Cup: We Allocated Quotas, They Provided a List

The Minister of Culture and Guidance said about the presence of government forces at the World Cup: We allocated quotas, they provided a list.

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili said that the list of journalists who went to the Qatar World Cup should be published, and if there are any criticisms, we should hold a meeting with the media about it.

Saying that the presence of these individuals at the World Cup had no achievements is prejudgment, but we tried to have representatives from all active media outlets.

Regarding the fact that some had nothing to do with sports and were not sports journalists, it should be said that we informed the media, and they introduced journalists. We did not choose; we allocated quotas to news agencies and newspapers.

I cannot make decisions on behalf of the media managers.
