Ahmad Khatami Thanks the Judiciary for the First Execution of Rioters

Ahmad Khatami: I thank the judiciary for the first execution of the rioters.

Ahmad Khatami, the temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran: The authority of the system should not become a plaything in the hands of a group of rioters.

The rioters went as far as making threats and creating insecurity for women in chadors and knocking off turbans, and if it weren’t for the presence of the people and the decisiveness of the judiciary, these followers of Reza Shah and ISIS would commit any crime.

We thank the decisiveness of the judiciary, which in these very days sent the first rioter to the gallows by the rule of law, so that it is known that law prevails in this country.
