We should not have allowed such unity to form among Iranian expatriates against the Islamic Republic; we have been weak in foreign policy.

It is unprecedented for the emigrants of a country to influence public opinion at this level. Now, Western politicians are not willing to speak positively about Iran because they will lose the public opinion of their own countries.
