Meeting of the White House National Security Advisor with Families of Detained Protesters

Jake Sullivan, the White House National Security Advisor, announced on Monday night that he has met with members of the families of two protesters who are detained in Iran.

Jake Sullivan stated that he is also scheduled to meet with the family of a third detained protester.

The names of the detained protesters in Iran and their families who met with Mr. Sullivan have not been disclosed.

Since the protests began in Iran, the United States and the European Union have condemned human rights violations and announced more pressure and sanctions against Iran.
