Mohammad Mehdi Karami's Father Called, Said They've Given My Execution Order

Mohammad Mehdi Karami’s father called and said they have issued my death sentence

Mashallah Karami, the father of Mohammad Mehdi Karami, a protester accused of corruption on earth, says his son informed him in a phone call that he received the death sentence from judicial authorities in prison last Wednesday.

Mehdi Karami has been identified by the Islamic Republic’s judiciary as the primary defendant in the case of a Basij member named Rouhollah Ajamian, who was killed during protests on the fortieth day after Hadis Najafi’s death in Karaj.

His father said he called us himself on Wednesday and said, ‘Dad, they have given us the sentences, mine is execution.’ My son was crying and said, ‘Don’t tell mom anything.’
