The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today, Tuesday, introduced the Qatar Football Federation as the host for the AFC Champions League matches in the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals in the West region.
In this stage, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia will face Shabab Al Ahli of the UAE, Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia will compete against Nasaf of Uzbekistan, Al Duhail will play against Al Rayyan of Qatar, and Al Faisaly of Saudi Arabia will meet Foolad Khuzestan of Iran.
Accordingly, the first leg of the final will be hosted by the West Asian finalist on April 29, 2023, and the return leg of the final will be hosted in Saitama, Japan, on May 6, where the Urawa Reds have reached the final.
