The Chip War Between the US and China Intensifies

The chip war between the US and China intensified

Bloomberg reports that the Biden administration intends to place more than 30 Chinese companies on the US blacklist, a move that seems to intensify the chip war between the two countries amid Beijing-Washington trade disputes.

Previously, China’s Ministry of Commerce had announced that the country has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization regarding the US’s control measures on chip exports to China.

In this context, China’s Ministry of Commerce issued a statement urging the US to adhere to normal economic trade between the two countries and not to disrupt the global supply chain of major industrial products, including semiconductors.
