UK Foreign Minister: We have sanctioned 300 individuals and entities in Iran

The UK Foreign Secretary stated that since the protests began following the death of Mahsa Amini, our country has placed over 40 officials of the Islamic Republic on its sanctions list.

James Cleverly: Three months ago today, Mahsa Amini passed away after being detained by three guidance patrol officers in Iran. Since then, we have sanctioned over 40 Iranian officials.

In total, we have sanctioned 300 individuals and entities, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
