The conservative newspaper Farheekhtegan tells Mirsalim not to comment on everything and to remain silent.
In its issue today, the conservative newspaper Farheekhtegan criticized Mostafa Mirsalim, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, for his comments on the widespread protests in Iran, which have further inflamed the situation, and advised him that he can easily choose to remain silent.
The newspaper wrote that simply being a member of parliament does not grant you the license to comment on every specialized issue.
Recently, Mr. Mirsalim, known for his controversial statements, demanded that protesters be executed within five or ten days after being arrested.
These remarks were met with numerous negative reactions to the point where he had to explain his intention and say that his words had been misinterpreted.
Farheekhtegan newspaper says it had previously told the responsible officials that if they don’t know how to speak correctly, they should at least practice speaking less.
