The British ambassador thanked passersby who cleaned the slogans.

Simon Shercliff, the British ambassador in Tehran, shared a few photos on Twitter of the embassy wall being cleaned and thanked the embassies of Germany, South Korea, France, Italy, Brazil, and others who helped him in this operation.

Shercliff also expressed gratitude towards some passersby.

Last week, unknown individuals had sprayed slogans against the British government on the walls of the British embassy in Tehran.
