International affairs analyst: The diplomatic apparatus is at its weakest period in history.
Ali Bigdeli: The current government’s diplomacy has been weak. It might be said that our diplomatic apparatus is going through its weakest historical period.
On the other hand, perhaps in the past 43 years, the Islamic Republic has never been under such internal, regional, and international pressure.
This indicates that Iran’s foreign policy and the government’s perspective on the international arena are not very rational or logical, especially in recent days as the level of Western hostility towards Iran has completely increased.
This diplomacy and policy cannot secure our national interests because, according to the principles governing political science, the ultimate goal and destination of foreign policy and diplomacy is national interests. Therefore, we cannot secure our national interests through this means.
