The retrial of Mahan Sadrat was accepted
According to the Supreme Court, the request for a retrial of the accused Mahan Sadrat Marni, one of the defendants in the recent unrest, was accepted.
The Public Relations of the Supreme Court announced that, considering the new reasons and evidence in the case of Mahan Sadrat Marni, the request for a retrial of the accused was deemed in accordance with paragraph C of Article 474 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Therefore, based on the provisions of Article 476 of the mentioned law, the case was referred for re-examination to a court of the same level as the one that issued the verdict.
