Masoud Shamsnejad, an attorney with a first-class law license, was prevented from representing Tohid Darvish in the Tabriz Revolutionary Court.
Masoud Shamsnejad, a first-class attorney, announced that the first branch of the Tabriz Revolutionary Court has prevented him from representing Tohid Loghman Darvish, a prisoner accused of moharebeh.
He wrote on his Instagram that despite the explicit emphasis by the legislator on the extension of attorneys under Note 48 to the investigative stage of crimes and the prosecutor’s office, and the need for courts handling the cases and appeals to observe this, on December 29th, the first branch of the Tabriz Revolutionary Court refused to accept my representation for Loghman Darvish, a prisoner accused of moharebeh.
According to the Kurdpa website, Tohid Loghman Darvish, a Kurdish citizen from the village of Gernavik in the Qotur district of Khoy County, was arrested in Tabriz on September 29th and was accused of moharebeh by the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of this city.
