Hamidreza Alimi, a eulogist, says people are protesting and they want answers.
Hamidreza Alimi, a dissident eulogist, in his latest reaction supporting the protesters, addressed the supporters of the Iranian government in a tweet, saying, ‘Neither are you the army of Ali, peace be upon him, and Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, nor are the protesters against you the army of Muawiya and the cursed Yazid. Many people are protesting and they want answers.’
He also responded to a tweet by Mostafa Mousavi, a writer and head of the Tawabin charity, who had tweeted that if you don’t stand by the Islamic Republic during its tough economic times, then you probably wouldn’t have stayed with the Prophet of Islam or in Sha’b Abi Talib either, saying, ‘Sha’b Abi Talib lasted three years, not 43 years.’
Mr. Alimi had also announced on his Instagram account some time ago that, by order of the Intelligence Departments of Isfahan and Qom, his mourning sessions in these two cities had been canceled, and he is no longer allowed to hold mourning sessions in Isfahan by order of the Isfahan Intelligence Department.
