Explosion at Semnan Steel Plant Leaves One Dead and Six Injured
An explosion in a furnace at a steel plant in an industrial unit in the capital’s industrial town of Eyvanki, in the west of Semnan province, resulted in one death and five injuries.
The head of the pre-hospital emergency and disaster management of the Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services said to an IRNA reporter on Tuesday that the explosion in the furnace of the steel plant in the capital’s industrial town in the city of Eyvanki, Garmsar county, Semnan province, resulted in one death and five injuries.
Mohammad Ali Taheri added that Mohammad Bagher Azizi, 52 years old, was the only fatality at the scene of this incident, and out of the five injured, three were transferred by air emergency to the medical center at Kowsar Hospital in Semnan.
The head of the pre-hospital emergency and disaster management of the Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services continued that three ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
