The head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce stated that not selling oil has caused more than $100 billion in damage to Iran’s economy. He mentioned that the growth of the petrochemical industry is significant; in the year 1978, the production of petrochemical products was about 3 million tons, and in 2018 it was about 80 million tons. We hope it will reach 133 million tons by the year 2025.
