Hamid Sajjadi, Minister of Sports: Stramaccioni Left Iran for Fear of Money Laundering Accusations

Hamid Sajjadi, Minister of Sports, said Stramaccioni left Iran due to fears of money laundering accusations.

According to Aftab News, Hamid Sajjadi, the Minister of Sports, explained the details of the impeachment session in parliament, stating that part of the questions were related to Iran being fined in connection with the foreign coaches’ cases.

He said that people in sports know the answer to this question and added that we have unjust sanctions, part of which concerns banking transactions. If there are delays in payments to foreign coaches and players coming to Iran, according to FIFA regulations, they can file a complaint and even receive their contract amount with a penalty.
