Mohammad Sadegh Koushki says these executions are insignificant
Mohammad Sadegh Koushki, a political activist supporting the government and a professor at the University of Tehran, described the recent executions as insignificant and told the Rouydad 24 website that this leniency has led some to act without fear.
He added that if the judiciary had not been lenient, the rioters would not have dared to insult the sanctities.
