Raisi is upset about inflation

Ebrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, has presented the proposed budget bill for the year 1402 in the Iranian calendar to the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

In his speech, Raisi expressed his dissatisfaction with the high inflation.

The budget bill for the upcoming solar year has been submitted to the parliament nearly a month late, a delay that has also been seen in previous governments.

When presenting the budget bill to parliament, the President of Iran said that we are all concerned about inflation, and currently we are witnessing a 19 percentage point reduction in inflation, and of course, we must make decisions to further reduce inflation.

This claim of reduced inflation comes while, according to the government’s own official statistics, prices in Iran have accelerated in recent months.
