Mahtab Nasirpour, an actress, has been summoned to the Evin Court.

Mahtab Nasirpour, an Iranian cinema and theater actress, announced that she has to go to the Evin Prison’s Martyr Shahid Court to defend herself against the charges mentioned in her case, by sharing a picture of her summoning letter.

The content of the summoning letter does not mention the charges. Since the beginning of the recent protests in Iran, Ms. Nasirpour has shown her support for the protesters by sharing posts on Instagram.

Mahtab Nasirpour was one of the artists who visited Evin Prison on the day of Alidousti’s release to welcome him.
