Scarcity of airplane tickets for Norooz trips
While airplane tickets for Norooz trips have been put up for sale on airline company websites, it is not possible to find tickets for certain dates. This has created the misconception that airlines are deliberately withholding ticket sales to pressure the Civil Aviation Organization and the Market Regulation Headquarters. The head of the Civil Aviation Organization has stated that the intentional reduction of flights by airlines is not true, as it would be detrimental to them. However, due to the winter season, the number of domestic flights has decreased. According to the Civil Aviation Organization, there are currently 171 active aircraft in the country, which could be another reason for the shortage of airplanes on certain routes.
