The United States has closed our military communication lines with China.
John Kirby, the coordinator of strategic communications for the US National Security Council, announced that unfortunately, the communication lines between our country’s military and China have been closed.
John Kirby, the coordinator of strategic communications for the White House National Security Council, told reporters in Washington on Friday that following the downing of a Chinese information balloon, military lines are not open and it is something we really want to fix.
Kirby also commented on the cancellation of Antony Blinken’s trip to Beijing, the US Secretary of State, which was due to the downing of a Chinese balloon. He said that now is not the right time for Blinken to travel to China.
