Emmanuel Macron: It’s not time to negotiate with Moscow

At the Munich Security Conference, the French President spoke about neoliberalism and, referring to Putin’s miscalculations in attacking a neighboring country, said Ukraine has been strengthened and the West must continue to support the people of this country in a counterattack.

Emmanuel Macron emphasized that the coming months are decisive, and France is also prepared for the prolongation of the war. He called on European countries to spend more on defending Ukraine.

The French President criticized Putin’s approach to attacking a neighboring country, describing Russia as a power that creates an incredible disorder in international order and stability.

Macron said the time for dialogue with Russia has not come because Moscow is intensifying its attacks against Ukraine. Russia has chosen and escalated the war, going as far as committing war crimes and attacking civilian infrastructure. Now is not the time for dialogue.
