The Chinese Foreign Minister says the war between Russia and Ukraine is out of control
On Wednesday, Wang Yi, the Chinese Foreign Minister, expressed concern about the ongoing war in Ukraine and warned that this military conflict has escalated and even become uncontrollable.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also called for negotiations to promote a cessation of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. Beijing officially declared neutrality from the beginning of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine, but asked the international community to consider Moscow’s security concerns. However, China has consistently emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty of all countries, including Ukraine.
Referring to the delivery of weapons by Western countries to Ukraine, the Chinese Foreign Minister said, ‘We urge these countries to stop pouring gasoline on the fire as soon as possible and not to shift the blame to China.’
