The pain-stricken poem is about my hope and confrontation with fear through patience.
The pain-stricken poem is written by a 21-year-old student from Bandar Abbas, who lost one of his eyes due to a clash with the authorities. In a recent post, he wrote about my secret of patience, hope, and facing everything I feared. He wore traditional clothes to attend his friend’s wedding.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, ‘I don’t believe in many things as a human, but one thing I deeply believe in is that you can bring out and create beautiful stories in the heart of nightmares. You can patiently wait for the fulfillment of your desires, no matter how long it takes.’
With his narratives, the pain-stricken poet has shed light on the wounds that affected dozens of people, whose eyes were injured during protests. He has also informed about the possibility of transplantation and the psychological condition of some of the victims. He wrote that he was initially hesitant to attend his friend’s wedding, but he overcame his fears.
