US Ambassador Left the Room During Amir Abdollahian's Speech

The American ambassador left the hall during Amir Abdollahian’s speech.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the ambassador of this country was deliberately absent from the council hall during the speech of the Iranian Foreign Minister at the Human Rights Council.

Ned Price, the spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, said in a press briefing that only one person was present in the hall to take notes on behalf of the United States.

He said that they did not want their ambassador to be in his place during Iran’s speech.
