36 shops catch fire in Qaemiyeh Bazaar, Fars

According to reports from Fars province, 36 shops in a commercial complex in Qaemiyeh Bazaar, Koohchenar County, have caught fire.

Mahmoud Hashemi, the governor of Koohchenar, told IRNA news agency that the fire started at 5 am local time in the Aria commercial complex on Shahid Soleimani Boulevard in Qaemiyeh, causing damage to the shops in this market and some neighboring commercial units.

The preliminary investigation has indicated that the cause of the fire was an electrical spark and connection in one of the shops. According to officials, the majority of the fire has now been contained, and firefighting operations are still ongoing.

This incident did not result in any casualties, but it has caused financial damages.

Koohchenar County, centered around Qaemiyeh city, is located in the western part of Fars province.
