The President of Turkey has ordered that nationwide elections be held on May 14, 2023
The Turkish opposition introduced their candidate for the presidential elections last week
Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the Republican People’s Party of Turkey, is set to compete against Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the country, in the elections on May 24. Western media refer to him as the Turkish Gandhi.
