Faisal bin Farhan says that the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia does not mean the resolution of all disputes.
The Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister states that the agreement with Tehran aims to establish diplomatic relations and resolve disputes through communication and dialogue, and should not be interpreted as the resolution of all conflicts between the two countries.
Faisal bin Farhan emphasized in an interview with Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper on Monday, February 21 that he is awaiting a meeting with his counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, based on the agreement.
He stated that diplomatic relations should be established within the next two months, and it is natural to have a meeting with each other.
The Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his concerns about Iran’s nuclear program in this interview and stated that Iran should adhere to its nuclear commitments and increase its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Faisal bin Farhan also emphasized that Saudi Arabia will continue to cooperate with its allies and friends to ensure the achievement of such matters.
