US President States Putin Has Committed a War Crime

The US President is clear that Putin has committed a war crime.

Joe Biden, the President of the United States, reacted to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court, saying that in his view, it is clear that the Russian President has committed a war crime.

Mr. Biden’s reference is to the transfer of thousands of Ukrainian children to Russian territory after the capture of large parts of the country, such as the city of Mariupol.

However, on the evening of Friday, March 17, journalists asked Joe Biden about the enforceability and value of such an arrest warrant, while also noting that the United States, like Russia, is not a member of the International Criminal Court. In response, the US President said, ‘In my opinion, this warrant is legitimate.’

Regardless of the fact that we do not recognize this court and its decisions globally, the essential point is that this warrant conveys a very important and powerful message.
