Putin: Russia Has Hypersonic Weapons But Doesn't Use Them

Putin says Russia has hypersonic weapons but does not use them

According to Sputnik News Agency, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, in a television program ‘Russia-Kremlin-Putin’, in response to the question of whether Russia started military operations in Ukraine in 2014, said, ‘We did not have any hypersonic weapons in 2014, but now we do. Yes, we do not use them, but we have them at our disposal. We have other modern defense systems that we did not have in 2014.’

He further added that Russia thought the Ukraine issue could be resolved peacefully without ever worrying about confrontation.
