Antony Blinken: China is monitoring the world’s reaction to the Ukraine war

The U.S. Secretary of State said on Wednesday, March 22, during a Senate subcommittee meeting, that China is closely watching the reaction of the United States and the world to Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, which has also affected Asia.

Antony Blinken, a day after the Chinese President’s visit to Moscow ended, stated that if Russia is allowed to attack its neighboring country with impunity, Pandora’s box will be opened, and governments and leaders who are potentially aggressive will drive the world towards perpetual war and crises.

The U.S. Secretary of State added that what is happening in Ukraine goes far beyond the borders of this country and, for example, has significant impacts on Asia.
