The low wages of workers in factories have caused a lack of interest in working, according to the head of the Construction Workers Association.
Akbar Shokat, the head of the Construction Workers Association, has stated that the low wages have resulted in workers having no desire to work in factories and large industrial environments.
He also mentioned that this issue has led to industrial towns facing a shortage of skilled labor.
According to Mr. Shokat, neither the employers have a tendency towards productive work nor the skilled workers are willing to work in factories, and part of the reason for this situation is the government’s policies regarding wages.
The head of the Construction Workers Association also pointed out that some raw materials are produced domestically and their prices increase two to three times a year, resulting in inflation rates of over 60-70% in all goods without an increase in workers’ wages.
