Erfan Rezaei’s mother’s opinion on the recent arrests: These actions are meant to scare us, but we become more determined.
The mother of Erfan Rezaei, a 21-year-old who was killed in Amol by two bullets from security forces, wrote in an Instagram post about her meeting with the mother of Sina Looh Mousavi, another victim of the protests.
She shared a part of their conversation in this post.
She wrote: She said, ‘You know they arrested Hamidreza’s father, and also Javad Heidari’s father.’ I said, ‘Yes, it’s to scare us.’ I asked, ‘Were you scared?’ She said, ‘No, angrier and more determined.’
She mentioned the support from people for the families of the protest victims and wrote: ‘She said people are very kind. If it weren’t for their hope and comfort, I would have died from the sorrow of Sina by now.’ I said, ‘Their words come from the heart and touch the heart.’
She also shared a picture of herself and Sina Looh Mousavi’s mother on her Instagram story and wrote: ‘Be afraid, be afraid, we are all together.’
