Extraordinary session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution on the topic of hijab
The topic of hijab and chastity was the second agenda item of today’s session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Members discussed the fact that the enemy has entered this issue with a plan and agenda, and is attempting to seriously damage the family institution through it.
Based on this, the Ministers of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Science, Research and Technology, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), and the president of the Islamic Azad University presented reports on their actions and plans for the year 1402 by their respective organizations. It was decided that in the next session, four other organizations should also present their reports for discussion and examination by the members.
It was also decided that the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution would hold an extraordinary session next week to continue the examination of the hijab and chastity issue. The purpose of this session is to approve and communicate strategic policies in this regard, determine the responsibilities of various organizations in guiding, supervising, and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of the implementation of these policies, within a cultural approach.
