Poisoning of at least 28 schools in five provinces of Iran

Reports indicate that following the serial poisonings of students in schools in Iran, at least 28 other schools in 5 provinces of the country were targeted on Wednesday, April 18th.

According to published news, the Niyayesh and Saipa schools in Islamshahr, Pardis Sharif Shahed-e-Makka and Kowsar in Tehran were attacked.

Following the poisonings in three girls’ schools, Abraar Shahed-e-Makka and Kowsar on Piroozi Street in Tehran, several students with symptoms such as headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, and high heart rate were hospitalized.

The extent of poisonings in first and second grade high schools on Piroozi Street in Tehran was such that some parents of students were also hospitalized with similar symptoms.
