Hamed Esmaeilion did not discuss the possibility of bombing Iran in the Halifax meeting.
Hamed Esmaeilion has rejected any discussion about bombing Iran in the Halifax Security Forum, through a post on social media.
In this post, Mr. Esmaeilion mentioned his trip to Europe to attend a meeting at the European Union headquarters and his participation in the April 29th march in London. He wrote, ‘In the past six months, I have attended various meetings or marches and in all of them, I have spoken about the necessity of seeking justice for the victims of the Islamic Republic and the need for solidarity with the people of Iran in overthrowing the dictatorship ruling Iran.’
He published these statements two days after resigning from the Solidarity Council of the Charter of Mehssa.
According to Mr. Esmaeilion, during the general session of the Halifax International Security Forum held in November 2022, the discussion was solely focused on the repeated human rights violations by the Islamic Republic, advocating for the rights of the families, and the need to refer the flight case to international institutions.
He rejected the statements about the possibility of bombing Iran being raised.
