Iran evacuated 65 of its citizens from Sudan with Saudi Arabia’s cooperation

Iran states that 65 of its citizens were evacuated from Sudan with the cooperation of Saudi Arabia and transferred to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and necessary arrangements have been made for their transfer to Iran.

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, has stated that since the onset of unrest in Sudan, the issue of evacuating 65 Iranian citizens residing in the country has been on the agenda, and the safe transfer of Iranian citizens from Khartoum, the capital, to Port Sudan and then their evacuation and dispatch to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia has been carried out.
