Sahraei, Acting Minister of Education: Curriculum Reform is on the Agenda

Reza Morad Sahraei, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of today’s cabinet meeting, stated that the most important directive we have in education today is designing a roadmap for the Comprehensive Transformation Document. Additionally, attention to the statements made by the Leader of the Revolution yesterday, particularly regarding why students should study for 12 years without acquiring any skills, is something we will definitely pursue.

He added that the issue of curriculum reform, reducing time in theoretical education, and increasing time in skills and practical training is being considered. An order has been given to the secretary of the Transformation Headquarters to immediately form a working group to design the roadmap and define the indicators.

The Acting Minister of Education continued, stating that an order has also been given to pursue the mechanism for revising the Comprehensive Transformation Document.
