Another person has been arrested in relation to the Ekbatan City case.

On Tuesday, 9th of Khordad, the Legal Counseling Center of Dadban announced that another person named Navid Najaran has been arrested in the case known as Ekbatan City in Tehran. Like the other defendants in this case, he has been denied access to a fair trial according to the law. According to Dadban, Navid Najaran has been deprived of access to a defense lawyer and no one, including his family, friends, or relatives, has been following up on his case so far.

This legal organization states that a special judicial officer has arrested Navid Najaran, a Basij student named Arman Aliourdi, in Ahvaz in connection with the death of Arman Aliourdi. After initial interrogation, he has been sent to Tehran. During the arrests and suppression of protests in Ekbatan City, on the evening of the fourth of Aban, a member of the Basij security unit named Arman Aliourdi was injured and two days later, he lost his life at Baqiyatallah Hospital, Sepah Pasdaran.

Following these arrests and the intensification of detentions in Ekbatan, the police security forces and the intelligence organization of Sepah Pasdaran added that the judiciary has issued arrest warrants for eight individuals in this regard.
