This confidential report, which was published on Thursday, 31 May, and copies of it have reached French news agencies and the Associated Press, states that Iran’s enriched uranium reserves have reached 4,744 kilograms as of 13 May this year.
According to the JCPOA agreement, Iran was only allowed to have 2,028 kilograms of 3.5% uranium stockpile.
Iran has also, contrary to the JCPOA agreement and one year after the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, resumed uranium enrichment at 20% and 60% levels.
This report states that Iran’s 20% enriched uranium reserves have exceeded 114 kilograms. This figure was 875 kilograms in February.
