Iran is the tenth most affected country by internet disruptions

According to the World of Economy, internet disruptions and shutdowns by governments cause billions of dollars in damage to the global economy annually. Iran’s internet has also been dealing with filtering and intentional outages for years.

Now, the latest studies show that by the middle of this year, with 309 hours of internet outages affecting more than 34 million people, Iran holds the position as the tenth most affected country in the world by intentional internet shutdowns.
