Hassan Lotfi, Head of the National Endowments Organization, Will Not Be Accountable to Anyone

Hassan Lotfi, the head of the country’s Endowments Organization, will not be accountable to anyone.

Following a revelation by a Twitter activist and the confirmation of a massive endowment being handed over for free to the daughter-in-law of the head of the Endowments and Charity Affairs Organization, a member of parliament admitted that neither the parliament nor even the Court of Audit has the authority to intervene in this case.

Hassan Lotfi, the representative of Razan and spokesperson for the Social Commission of Parliament, predicted in an interview with the Nabz-e Bazar website on Tuesday, June 20, that the head of the country’s Endowments Organization will not be accountable to anyone regarding the recent case.

Vahid Ashtari, a Twitter activist and a member of the so-called justice-seeking conservatives, posted an image of a lease form on Sunday, June 18, stating that one of the largest several hundred-hectare endowments in the Qazvin province, belonging to the Hosseiniyeh Aminis, has been almost freely handed over to Mona Chaichian, born in 1989 and the daughter-in-law of Mehdi Khamoushi, the head of the Endowments Organization.
