It is not possible to transfer electricity money from Iraq to Iran.

Ahmed Musa Al-Abadi, the spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, stated that the Ministry has paid off all of Iraq’s debts to Iran for gas imports.

These debts have been paid into an credit fund at the Iraqi Trade Bank, but this bank is facing difficulties in transferring it to the Iranian government due to US sanctions.
