Zakani in Belgium: I realized how much we can help them

Zakani realized in Belgium how much we can help them

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, met with Ali Abbasi, the head of Al-Mustafa International University, during his visit to Qom on Thursday, July 13th.

Zakani praised this institution, which is managed under the supervision of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, and emphasized the necessity of increased cooperation between the Tehran municipality and Al-Mustafa International University. He stated that for the rapid development of the capital, we need continuous communication with Al-Mustafa.

The mayor of Tehran also referred to his recent eventful trip to Brussels, the capital of Belgium, claiming that this year in Belgium, we had meetings with mayors of other cities and realized how much we can help them and reflect the revolution.

On June 11th, Zakani traveled to Brussels, Belgium, at the invitation of the Brussels municipality to participate in the General Assembly of Mayors of Major World Cities.

This trip faced widespread protests from Iranians and human rights defenders, to the extent that many Belgian officials were forced to respond.
