The UK Prime Minister's Office Considers the Iranian Regime a Serious Threat to Britain

The British Prime Minister’s Office considers the Iranian regime a serious threat to Britain.

On Monday, August 7th, the British Prime Minister’s Office stated that the Iranian regime poses a serious threat to the country and its allies, and a direct danger to Iranian dissidents and opposition residing in Britain.

British media reported a few days ago that Suella Braverman, the UK Home Secretary, considers the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its affiliated forces the greatest threat to Britain’s national security.

The British Prime Minister’s spokesperson added that the government has taken and implemented decisive measures against the Islamic Republic of Iran, but refrained from commenting on the possibility of declaring the Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization.

According to British media, there is a disagreement among members of the British government on this matter, and it seems the Foreign Office is reluctant to make this decision due to its harmful and long-lasting diplomatic consequences.
