We have reached good agreements with Russia, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Army

The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Army stated that we have reached good agreements with Russia.

Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari, the Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, said in Moscow that both sides reached good agreements in the negotiations and consultations they had with General Oleg Salyukov, the Commander of the Russian Armed Forces’ Ground Forces.

Brigadier General Heidari stated that he visited various military educational centers in Russia, including the Officer University, the Military Technology Center, the Border Monitoring Equipment Center, and the Defense Equipment Production Center.

He said that Iran and Russia are serious about strengthening their cooperation in the fight against terrorism, but he did not provide any details about the agreements between the two countries.

The Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces stated that these visits can contribute to future collaborations between the two countries in the exchange of military expertise and student exchange programs.

Military officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran continuously travel to Russia.

In recent weeks, the Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces’ General Staff, and prior to that, the Commander of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, traveled to Russia.

Ukraine and the United States claim that Iran is providing its drones to Moscow for military aggression against Ukraine.
