Iranian domestic media have reported the delivery of a fleet of Yak-130 training fighter jets, made in Russia, to the Iranian Air Force.
According to ISNA, this advanced combat training aircraft is capable of meeting the training needs of pilots for flying fourth-generation fighter jets.
This training aircraft has an aerodynamic configuration and features of modern fighter jets at supersonic speeds, and it can be used for identification operations as well as conducting light attacks.
